Kiln Fired Pottery

All pottery painted in the studio is carefully hand-finished by our team. Once you’ve created your piece, we apply a clear glaze and place it in one of our kilns, where it is fired at very high temperatures (up top 1000C).

This process transforms the paint into a glossy, durable finish that is food-safe and long-lasting — but it does take time.  Each kiln load is carefully planned, and pieces must cool slowly before they can be removed safely.

We aim to have standard pottery ready in around 2–3 weeks, and keepsakes & personalised items within up to 4 weeks, but during busy periods or around special occasions, we recommend planning ahead using the guide above.
